EVENT Parking
The event is a loop based event,  this means that you will start and finish in the same location (google map). Parking on the tarseal carpark in front of the Cafe is prohibited for event participants.

Also available in this locations is:

• Grounded Coffee & Café
• MTB Rotorua 
• Hot Shower (KiwiCamp card needed)

CHECKLIST For Event Day

• Ensure your event number plate is attached to your handlebars, with the number visible. Don't bend the plate too much or the timing chip will break.
• ​​Have weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen.
• Bring tools and spares for last minute fixes, and carry what you may need on course. Event marshals are not mechanics!
• Plan your nutrition and hydration the day before the event.
• Arrive to the start line at least 15 minutes early

​FINISH LINE Vibes
The Highlander finish line is the coolest place to hang out on the edge of the forest.
​
Once you have made the finish line we will have everything you need to refuel and celebrate you epic ride while waiting for your riding buddies to catch up. 

​We have a great selection of food trucks ready to feed you while you kick back to the sweet tunes from the live DJ as we cheer on other riders finishing their event.

​​EVENT Photos​
Photos4sale are on course taking participant images throughout the day and at the finish line. Photos will be available online 24 hours after the event to view at photos4sale.co.nz.

Make sure you look fast when you see a photographer and have your race number clearly visible from the front so the photographer can identify you.
