The Highlander 63km Geyser to Lake starts of in the grounds of the geothermal valley that is Te Puia. Your journey will see you ride through the amazing geothermal paths covered in natural bush, geysers and mud pools and past the Pōhutu geyser – the largest geyser in the Southern Hemisphere! You will soon enter the trail network of best mountain bike trails Rotorua has to offer before descending into Lake Tikitapu for the finishing.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - An optional bike shuttle bus is available for $21.00. Pick up from Lakefront between 7:15am and 7:45am. Dropping you at the start line at Te Puia. There is no all-day parking at Te Puia. The shuttle service is by Mountain Bike Rotorua. |
